sCONVEY control

The sCONVEY control system, from the swift range by motan, is a decentralized solution designed for the management and monitoring of plastic granule conveying systems.

Developed using Siemens PLC technology, sCONVEY control provides a robust, flexible, and scalable solution based on universal I/O nodes, allowing easy adaptation to changing production requirements.

Its open Ethernet-based network architecture simplifies the integration and configuration of complex conveying systems.

The sCONVEY control system can manage:

• 60 material loaders on drying hoppers

• 160 material loaders on processing machines

• 9 vacuum pumps

• 3 standby vacuum pumps

• 60 purge valves under drying hoppers

• 120 independent purge valves

• 180 regrind material sources

• 12 warning beacons with audible alarms

This system contributes to improved production control and enhanced process optimisation within the plastics processing industry.
